Inside Out Teams
As a leadership team you navigate a complex business environment and you want your team focused and pulling in the same direction whilst achieving results.
Executive and senior leadership teams share with me some of their frustrations which include:
We could benefit from ‘gelling’ better – have less silos and be more of a cohesive team
We don’t understand the collective strengths and challenges in our team and how this impacts strategy or culture
We need to be the leadership team our people want to follow
We want to create a culture that supports our desire to be an employer of choice
The Collective Inner Game of Teams
Why understand how you are playing your collective inner game?
Executive and senior leadership teams have a huge responsibility in terms of leading their organisations by focusing on creating, implementing, and achieving strategy; cultivating a culture that will make you an employer of choice; and demonstrating to your employees and other key stakeholders, that you are a team who ‘walks the talk’ and achieves results.
But how many senior teams take the time to unpack how they are playing their ‘inner game’? How many understand if the culture they are trying to create is even possible with the collective strengths, challenges, and values?
And, how many are able to demonstrate a collaborative approach to teamwork so others in their organisation can follow their lead?
Executive and senior leadership teams who understand their collective inner game are more likely to leverage teamwork, engagement, collaboration, and results in their organisation.
What we want to do is create a senior leadership team that will inspire others and demonstrates effectiveness in not only achieving results but in creating a team that everyone wants to be part of and follow.
